SERVING CUSTOMERS FOR OVER 25 YEARS


In September of 1999, brothers Lee Dundas Jr. and Kelly Dundas founded their injection molding company in Newberg, Oregon, building on a rich legacy in the plastics industry. Their journey began under the guidance of their father, Lee Dundas Sr., who had established Quality Plastics in 1966. This pioneering company laid the groundwork for the family's expertise before his retiring and Quality Plastics being sold to another injection molding firm in 1994.

Lee Jr., after decades of leadership retired and passed the torch to Kelly in 2021, marking a new chapter for their company. By 2025, the next generation had already begun to leave its mark, with Kelly’s son, Elliott Dundas, stepping up as Vice President and part owner at 3D Plastics Inc.

Throughout the years, 3D Plastics Inc. has nurtured a strong family-oriented culture, proudly employing five members of the Dundas family presently. This commitment to family and innovation continues to drive their success in the ever-evolving world of plastics.

What we have to offer

  • 11 Injection-molding machines ranging from 18 tons to 310 tons.
  • Parts ranging in size from 1 ounce to 26 ounces.
  • Over-molding using threaded inserts, bushings, contacts and plastic substrates.
  • In-house sonic welding, heat staking, post-mold machining and more.
  • Paint, pad printing, vacuum metallization and more with quality and trusted outsourcing.
  • Contact with local and offshore companies to produce high quality and cost effective molds.

TOM ROBERTS INSPIRATIONAL AWARD

“Congratulations to Henry Pepinos for winning the 10th Annual Tom Roberts Award. This award goes to the employee that is the most inspirational over the year and Henry was voted for by his fellow employees. The award was started 10 years ago in honor of Tom Roberts.

 

Tom Roberts, was a former employee and one of the original starting members. He unfortunately passed away in 2010 from brain cancer. While, he may no longer be with us, his wit and humor still provides inspiration to everyone daily.

 

We want to thank Henry and all the employees for their hard work and dedication to 3D Plastics. We wouldn’t be here without you.”
